Mrs. Sally Peterson shared that for Thanksgiving she spends time with her family, “We go to my moms and we eat dinner together.” Her favorite Thanksgiving food is “stuffing,” and Mrs. Peterson thinks that Black Friday shopping is “too busy.” Nathan Anderson ’14 is traveling to Wyoming, and does not participate in Black Friday shopping. Frances Christianson ’14 stated that on Thanksgiving her family “Goes to cousins, eats lots of food, and then we polka.”Jenny Walz ’14 believes that when it comes to Black Friday, stores need to “Wait until after Thanksgiving because no one wants to go shopping on Thanksgiving.” Freshman Will Pellegrene, says his family traditionally has “relatives over and we watch football”. He thinks Black Friday has “great deals” and is “hectic”. Makenzie Murtha ’15 will be competing in the “Hamlin Thanksgiving Tournament” with the PA girls basketball team over Thanksgiving break. Mr. David Harman shares a picture of his family, who he will be spending time with this Thanksgiving break. On Thanksgiving he will participate in a “big turkey feast”, and on Thursday, Mr. Harman will be running in a 10k race. This year instead of Black Friday shopping, he will be Cyber Monday shopping for Christmas presents for his son.
