The long-awaited event for any Homecoming is the Friday night football game. This is something that students of all ages, alumni, parents, friends, and relatives can all enjoy together. But this year, the 9th anniversary of Providence Academy’s first varsity football Homecoming game, something new is happening: the Upper School choir is singing the National Anthem at the beginning of the game.

Mr. Richard Carrillo, the US Choir director, said, “I thought it would be nice for the choir to do something to help enhance the festivities, and singing the National Anthem seemed like a great service we could provide.”

This performance is definitely a reason to get to the game early on Friday night, and also something to look forward to as a PA Homecoming tradition over the next few years. Watch an exclusive preview of Friday’s performance!
